What do we get to do and see on a Segway Tour? You get to see and do
plenty, all under the careful guidance of a fully trained and
certified Segway Tour guide!
The Segway Adventure runs this like:
For the first
10-15 minutes everyone receives a thorough introduction to the Segway.
Each person is individually instructed on how to ride the Segway
and then practices forward and backwards control and turning. It is right here
where the nerves end and the smiles start to appear.
For the next 45 minutes or so, we explore the grand open spaces and iconic
buildings of Olympic Boulevard at a relaxed pace. This allows all participants no matter
what their
still level to feel comfortable and build confidence on the Segway. A winding track
ends this session and ensures all turning and manoeuvring skills have been mastered.
We stop for a short 10 minute refreshment and convenience break at this point.
The
second half of the adventure is where the smirks break into beaming smiles.
Everyone has the chance to increase the maximum speed of the Segway to see
how well it handle hills and slopes. For the next 50 minutes we explore the natural beauty of the park
and some pretty amazing man-made attractions too.

the Visitor Gateway.
CREATE YOUR OWN TOUR ROUTE:- That’s right, if you can
get yourself and three other friends together then you can create your own tour
route. Take the opportunity to go to areas of the park that other guests do
not get to see! Our tour guides know the park very well and are more than happy
to take you wherever you would like to go.
PRIVATE TOUR PARTY:- You may book your very own private tour on any
day of the week. Minimum group size is four and only available with the
two hour adventure.
The vast 640 hectares of man-made and natural attractions of Sydney Olympic
Park is within easy reach of the city centre. Effortlessly explore the
amazing park on your very own Segway - it’s easy, safe, and a whole bunch of
fun.

Outside of these hours a message can be left but it will
not be attended to until the next working day. You

Clothing and enclosed footwear – no thongs etc.
- that is suitable for walking is suitable for the Segway Adventure.
Please ensure you take adequate precautions against the elements. We will provide wet weather ponchos when
necessary.
There is limited storage on the Segway so please bring only small items. We cannot store
or accommodate luggage or other large items. There are numerous photo opportunities
so you may wish to bring a camera - the tour guide will happily take your
picture
In the
event of heavy rain or dangerous and unfavourable weather, our office will
contact you two hours prior to the scheduled departure time to discuss options, which may include
rescheduling.

Weight restrictions
apply - min of 30Kg and a max of 120Kg All under 18s
must be accompanied by parent or guardian Tours
operate in all weather conditions. With or without
notice, we may cancel, delay or reschedule a tour where
the weather conditions may make operating the tour
dangerous.
In September 2006, Segway issued
a voluntary product recall. All of Segway Tours
Australia Segways have been upgraded in accordance with
this recall.
